Rackets, also known as Racquets, is an indoor racquet sport. It's played in an enclosed court, with wooden racquets and a hard white ball. Rackets originated in prisons in 18th century London, and found its way to schools and privat clubs, and is now still being played in Great Britain, Canada and the USA. Rackets is nearly exclusive a male sport. The sport is governed by the Tennis & Rackets Association of Great Britain and the North American Racquets Association.
