Aerobatics is an air sport where pilots perform sequences of aerobatic maneuvers with their specialist aerobatic aircrafts. Maneuvers involve rolling, looping and spins and demand a very high level of skill form the pilots. Apart from these points based competitions, Air Racing has gained popularity in recent years; in air racing pilots are judged on times. Aerobatics is governed by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, the international federation for air sports, which was founded in 1905.
